Lovesick Expo.

Happy Friday, everyone! The end of the work-week has finally arrived. I hope you all have big plans, or at least big plans that include relaxation, for both Saturday and Sunday. I’ve been looking forward to this weekend for quite a few weeks.  I’ll be traveling to the best of all Iladelphia’s…. Philadelphia.

I’ve been visiting the City of Brotherly Love quite often as of late (maybe I’ll tell you all why sometime in the future) and have a lovely time every visit. This weekend, I’ll be attending the Lovesick Expo, the Mack daddy of all hip wedding expos, and am ecstatic to meet up with some friends and peruse the many vendors. Don’t get your panties all up in a bunch, if I were getting married, you all would know by now. No ring on this left ring finger yet.

My charming and talented friend, Natalie (of Birdhouse Productions), put me on her guest list for the event. She and her fiancé will be showcasing their products (really rad wedding videos) and schmoozing with like-minded individuals, couples, and other vendors.

“The Lovesick Expo will feature an elite array of local talent, hand-crafted, and eco-friendly goods, appealing to independent-minded couples. This expo will allow couples to experience the full-spectrum of options available to them, especially those “beyond the mainstream.” Unlike more traditional expos, Lovesick is proud to be an earth-friendly, guy-friendly, same-sex-couple-friendly, and budget-friendly event!” – according the Lovesick Expo’s website

Yes, so excited. I’m really looking forward to meeting some neat people who do some neat things. Maybe something like this will push me to publicly debut my love for weddings, passion for all things vintage, and DIY tricks… as if anyone didn’t already know that those are things that I adore. Cheers to visiting metropolitan areas and having a fantastic time! Trust me, I’ll be back with pictures soon, I promise. Happy weekend!
P.S. Here’s a little something-something that I’ve been keeping from my blog followers for a few days! A project between Jillian McGrath Photography, Birdhouse Productions, and featuring me (as a pretend pseudo-bride). Check it out, enter their crazy give-away, and I’ll post more as soon as I get the watermarked images back!
