On April 20th, I had the pleasure of creating several flower arrangements for an event unlike any other on the Eastern Shore... The first Eleven Forks Dinner of the season at The Good Farm!
Every 3rd Saturday of the months, the folks at The Good Farm at Mariner’s Country Down drag a few farm tables out into the middle of an empty field that overlooks growing crops, the greenhouse, and the beautiful forest surrounding the property. If April’s dinner was any indication of how the organic farm’s season is going to be – Christie believes we will all be eating very well during 2013!
April’s Eleven Forks dinner yielded the largest turn out in Good Farm history. At one point, there were 20 children running through the fields, playing soccer, and hopping through the creeks.
The evening was a celebration of food and great company. It was the perfect April afternoon; slightly chilly with a sky full of energy. I loved being a part of this community gathering. Check out a few photos below...
If you’d like to attend the May Eleven Forks Dinner, you can find details on the Little Miss Lovely Events page! I’ll be making new arrangements using local flowers for next month! Hope to see you there!
