Wisteria

Hoping that you had a lovely weekend filled with adventures, creativity, and joy! I spent the weekend in York, PA helping Marcy (of Foster's Flower Shop) prepping for and setting up wedding flowers for a beautiful ceremony at Ski Roundtop and then visited Chaz's family in good-ole' Baltimore. While on my way home from B-More yesterday, I took the long way through the country to admire the blooming wisteria vines that cover old abandoned houses, tower above farm homes, and grow along waterways on the Eastern Shore. Wisteria is a flowering woody vine related to the pea plant. It’s native to the each coast of the United States and is considered an invasive species in areas south west of the Mississippi River. Wisteria veins intertwine themselves around supportive trees. These vines can climb 60 feet high and 30 feet wide! The brilliant purple flowers don’t have much of a scent, but they are crazy beautiful! There’s nothing like seeing a wall of purple flowers hanging high in a budding tree line. I snapped a few photos for you to enjoy… Wisteria Plants - Parsonsburg PA Wisteria Plants - Parsonsburg PA Wisteria Plants - Parsonsburg PA Wisteria Plants - Parsonsburg PA Happy Monday! P.S. Join me at the Eastern Shore Mountain Bike Association Fun.d Raiser at Burley Oak Brewery in Berlin, MD tonight! The event runs from 7 -  10 pm.
