Making these bouquets and centerpieces made me so happy on a drizzly, chilly Autumn day last week... I was even happier once I saw the centerpieces in place at Waterman's on a gorgeous, warm day for a wedding. Jodie & Eric tied the knot this past Saturday and I had the pleasure of putting together their flowers. The bride's bouquet was created using several varieties of succulents, hot pink roses, pink and orange ranunculus, orange wheat, purple stock, ivory roses, and greenery. The stems were wrapped in delicate ivory lace and silk. A gold starfish charm was pinned to the bouquet wrap. The Maid of Honor carried a smaller bouquet composed of a few succulents, pink roses, pink and orange ranunculus, green trick dianthus & greenery. The bouquet was wrapped in ivory silk and ivory ric-rak. The groom wore a small boutonniere of mostly greenery. A small dahlia and ranunculus bloom matched the bride's bouquet. The couple's reception took place at Waterman's Seafood Company in West Ocean City, Maryland. I cannot thank Jessica, Waterman's event specialist, for doing such an amazing job placing these arrangements and for always going above and beyond to make the many couples who get married at Waterman's so happy. Thank you for sharing these photos with me, Jessica! The reception tables were marked with clusters of 3 mason jars. Small jelly jars (with gold-painted bottoms) held floating candles. Medium mason jars were filled with pebbles and beach sand and topped off with gorgeous succulents. Large mason jars were filled with fresh floral arrangements. Each mason was tied with ivory ribbon, lace, ric-rak and twine. Sand dollars and starfish were placed on the arrangements and on the tables. Some shells were painted gold to match the candle jars.
