little miss lovely // ocean city maryland wedding florist // peakys wedding Pink, black & white... Such vibrant colors for a winter wedding that perfectly fit Michelle & Mike's personalities! Michelle is a planner; she knew exactly what she wanted her wedding to look like and feel like nearly a year prior to her wedding date. And Mike just wanted to see everything turn out the way Michelle had envisioned. I met with Michelle a few months before their wedding date. Within minutes of her bridal consultation, I had felt like she was a friend I had known for years. We learned that we actually live on the same street in the same neighborhood and have a bunch of mutual friends. Its always so awesome when that happens! Michelle had explained her vision for their January wedding with me in such detail that I knew everything was going to turn out just perfectly... and I'm positive that it did. Michelle and Mike's wedding took place on a grey winter's day in Ocean City, MD. This made their bright winter wedding even more cheerful that I could have ever imagined. Michelle and her bridesmaids carried bouquets of pink flowers. The bride's bouquet included some white flowers and was tied in glittery black tulle and pinned with rhinestone pins. The bridesmaid bouquets consisted of all pink flowers and were wrapped in white ribbon with silver accents to contrast against their black dresses. little miss lovely // ocean city maryland wedding florist // peakys wedding little miss lovely // ocean city maryland wedding florist // peakys wedding Mike is a member of the military and wore his dress blues on their special day. His groomsmen wore suits with pink boutonnieres. little miss lovely // ocean city maryland wedding florist // pink ranunculus boutonnières little miss lovely // ocean city maryland wedding florist // pink ranunculus boutonnières The mothers and fathers wore delicate white ranunculus boutonnieres and wrist corsages. The pews were tagged with white satin bows and pink and black gerber daisies. Two large floral arrangements flanked each side of the alter.   little miss lovely // ocean city maryland md wedding florist little miss lovely // ocean city maryland md wedding florist // alter arrangement little miss lovely // ocean city maryland md wedding florist // alter arrangement little miss lovely // ocean city maryland md wedding florist // pew bow with gerber daisy The couple's reception took place in North Ocean City and was held at Peaky's Restaurant atop the Fenwick Inn. Michelle had asked me if I could get my hands on 20 extra large martini glasses. I told her I would look into it, determine some pricing, and get back to her. To my surprise, super-sized martini glasses were really easy to get a hold of! I ordered these large glasses, had them shipped to my home within a few weeks, and then took them to Michelle & Mike's house so they could start creating their DIY wedding centerpieces. The bride and groom filled each glass with pink holiday balls, added some sparkly black trim - and voila! - stylish, pretty, non-floral centerpieces. I sprinkled fresh hot pink rose petals around each centerpiece on the day of their wedding. little miss lovely // ocean city maryland wedding florist // peakys rooftop fenwick inn wedding little miss lovely // ocean city maryland wedding florist // peakys rooftop fenwick inn wedding Another crazy, awesome project that made the Boyle wedding pretty cool was this ceiling installation I had created and completed days before their wedding. Peaky's Restaurant hired Little Miss Lovely to create this custom ceiling installation in their reception space. It was not an easy task and even with all of my creative visions and planning, the design ended up very different from what I had initially envisioned, but it still turned out pretty awesome. With more than 100 yards of white cotton fabric and 15 stands of holiday lights, this 6 paneled piece is meant to add some ambiance and soft lighting to the more industrial styled, rooftop space. This installation will be a permanent fixture at the restaurant for the 2015 wedding season. little miss lovely // ocean city maryland wedding florist // peakys rooftop fenwick inn wedding little miss lovely // ocean city maryland wedding florist // peakys rooftop fenwick inn wedding little miss lovely // ocean city maryland wedding florist // peakys rooftop fenwick inn wedding little miss lovely // ocean city maryland wedding florist // peakys rooftop fenwick inn wedding Congratulations, Michelle & Mike!
