little miss lovely floral design // april wedding bouquet // white and tiffany blue bouquet // ocean city maryland florist Marquita & Chris’ wedding this past weekend was nothing short of marvelous. Marquita and Chris are outstanding individuals that I am beyond thankful to call close friends. I am blessed to have them in my life. This wedding entailed more than 30 bunches of baby’s breath, 20 LED lights, a 20’ by 10’ hand-sewn canvas backdrop, an hour spent swimming in the Coconut Malorie’s lobby fountain, and a 2-gallon bucket filled with clear water beads. It was completely enjoyable and I loved every second of it… to say the least. The color scheme of Marquita & Chris’ wedding was tiffany blue, white and grey. These three colors paired so nicely together and looked bright and cheerful among the Coconut Malorie’s interior furnishings and decorations. The bride carried a stunning bouquet composed of white Easter lilies, fragrant white stock flowers, bunches of baby’s breath, the most petite spray roses, sweetheart roses, hand painted tiffany blue hydrangea, and the frilliest tulips I have ever seen. Her bouquet stems were wrapped in ruffled ribbon and a charm (special to the bride) was pinned to the ribbon. I adored this bouquet. It was perfect for an Easter-weekend wedding and Marquita looked stunning while carrying it down the aisle. little miss lovely floral design // april wedding bouquet // white and tiffany blue bouquet // ocean city maryland florist little miss lovely floral design // april wedding bouquet // white and tiffany blue bouquet // ocean city florist The groom wore a boutonniere composed of baby’s breath, multiple sprigs of eucalyptus greens, opened spray roses and was tied with tiffany blue ribbon that matched his bride’s bouquet. little miss lovely floral design // ocean city maryland // white rose babys breath greenery boutonniere Marquita’s two bridesmaids carried large bouquets of baby’s breath and greenery. This baby’s breath was massive and looked so pretty in bouquet-form. little miss lovely floral design // april wedding bouquet // babys breath and fern bouquet // ocean city maryland florist The groomsmen matched the bride’s maids and wore boutonnieres of baby’s breath and eucalyptus greens tied in grey ribbon. little miss lovely floral design // ocean city md // beach wedding boutonnieres // babys breath and greenery The mothers, fathers, grandparents, officiant and ceremony reader all wore boutonnieres and pin corsages of baby’s breath and ivory spray roses tied in white ribbon. Each of the ladies pin corsages featured pearl and rhinestone accents. little miss lovely floral design // ocean city md // beach wedding boutonnieres // babys breath and greenery little miss lovely floral design // ocean city md // beach wedding boutonnieres // babys breath and greenery little miss lovely floral design // ocean city md // beach wedding boutonnieres // babys breath and greenery The ceremony backdrop may have been my favorite part of the wedding elements I helped with for Marquita and Chris’ special day. I jumped into the chilly water in the Coconut Malorie fountain to drape a blanket of canvas over the existing mosaic. Large vines and a garland of baby’s breath and eucalyptus were attached to the canvas fabric. My goals was to create a backdrop that looked as though ivy was just crawling across the wall. Stems of roses, baby’s breath, tulips & stock were added to the backdrop. A floating arrangement centered by one large unity candle lit up the fountain and added extra intrigue. Once the sun had set, pale blue and light green lighting was cast upon the backdrop. It was all so romantic, simple and elegant. Guests enjoyed taking Instax photos, placing them in a guest book, and leaving clever and sweet messages for the couple. little miss lovely floral design // photo booth table little miss lovely floral design // photo booth backdrop little miss lovely floral design // toss bouquet // water beads with floating candle and led lights // wedding florist The couple gifted cake pops by Yummy! A tower of cupcakes make quite the statement in the reception space, as well. little miss lovely floral design // yummy sweet shop cupcakes // wedding cake cupcakes cakepops The Coconut Malorie’s ballroom was transformed into the prettiest space for the couple’s reception. White linens were paired with grey napkins, a tiffany blue centerpiece mat, and Eiffel tower vases topped with full arrangements of baby’s breath and curly willow stems. The towering vases lit up with LED lights. The centerpieces looked to regal when paired with the light of twinkling votives at night. little miss lovely floral design // babys breath eucalyptus garland sweetheart table // mrs and mrs sign // coconut malorie wedding little miss lovely floral design // ocean city wedding florist // berlin wedding florist // babys breath eifel tower vase centerpiece // coconut malorie wedding little miss lovely floral design // ocean city wedding florist // berlin wedding florist // babys breath eifel tower vase centerpiece // coconut malorie wedding little miss lovely floral design // ocean city wedding florist // berlin wedding florist // babys breath eifel tower vase centerpiece // coconut malorie wedding little miss lovely floral design // ocean city wedding florist // marquita and chris wedding // tiffany blue and silver wedding // coconut malorie wedding little miss lovely floral design // ocean city wedding florist // marquita and chris wedding // tiffany blue and silver wedding // coconut malorie wedding little miss lovely floral design // ocean city wedding florist // marquita and chris wedding // tiffany blue and silver wedding // coconut malorie wedding little miss lovely floral design // ocean city wedding florist // coconut malorie wedding // vine fountain ceremony backdrop little miss lovely floral design // ocean city wedding florist // coconut malorie wedding // vine fountain ceremony backdrop little miss lovely floral design // ocean city wedding florist // coconut malorie wedding // vine fountain ceremony backdrop [caption id="attachment_8623" align="aligncenter" width="960"]little miss lovely floral design // ocean city wedding florist // sarah murray photography photo by Sarah Murray Photography[/caption] [caption id="attachment_8622" align="aligncenter" width="960"]little miss lovely floral design // ocean city wedding florist // sarah murray photography photo by Sarah Murray Photography[/caption] Sarah Murray Photography took photos of the event and shared this sneak peek on her Facebook page yesterday. Looking forward to seeing the rest of her photos from the evening soon. I’m sure they are spectacular! Marquita, you looked stunning! Chris, you were calm and collected the entire time and the love for your bride was visible through your actions all evening. All of your hard work paid off! I am so honored to have you two in my life as clients and friends. Can’t wait to see what your future together has in store! Love you both so much. Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Giesey! Xoxo - Ami
