z + p wedding

Deep purple iris, purple hydrangea, mystic purple roses, sweet lavender & baby's breath. This beautiful combination of flowers was the perfect accent for a moody, romantic, mountainside wedding held in Pocono Manor, Pennsylvania last weekend. The Inn at Pocono Manor was a beautiful venue for such a special day. I know that I have a nature-loving bride when she confesses that she chose her wedding date based on when her favorite flowers would be in bloom. Zee's favorite flower is the pretty, triangular shaped, dark purple iris. These spring blooms were found in her bouquet, wedding ceremony & reception flowers and fit nicely with her and Pat's color scheme of deep purple and ivory. Pat's boutonniere looked so sharp against his dark brown suit jacket. The groom's boutonniere was made using ivory spray roses, a lavender sprig, baby's breath & a piece of burlap cut to the shape of a leaf. little miss lovely floral design // babys breath lavender boutonniere little miss lovely floral design // babys breath lavender boutonniere Each groomsman wore a boutonniere for burlap & baby's breath wrapped in twine and purple hemp. little miss lovely floral design // babys breath lavender boutonniere little miss lovely floral design // babys breath lavender boutonniere The brides-man wore a similar boutonniere of baby's breath tied with twine.little miss lovely floral design // babys breath lavender boutonniere They say rain on your wedding day is a sign of good luck. I say that rain showers starting one-hour before your wedding, clearing up minutes before your ceremony, a rain-free ceremony, and a visible rainbow immediately following the ceremony mean your luck with be GREAT forever & ever. Chaz helped me create this arbor display in the pouring rain a half-hour before Zee & Pat's ceremony was scheduled to start. I had waited to see if the weather would swing; no such luck. We set the ceremony space in the rain and were drenched! Thankfully I packed a few dresses and ran upstairs, changed quickly and was ready to finish setting up the ceremony and reception space in no time. I love how to arbor flower turned out. The bride had sent me a photo of a decorated arbor that she liked and I tried to re-create it, adding a little LML style and originality. little miss lovely // mount pocono pa florist // pocono wedding florist // purple and white wedding flowers little miss lovely // mount pocono pa florist // pocono wedding florist // purple and white wedding flowers little miss lovely // mount pocono pa florist // pocono wedding florist // purple and white wedding flowers Zee & Pat's ceremony was gorgeous and filled with so many special movements, a few good laughs, and so much love. little miss lovely // mount pocono pa florist // pocono wedding florist // purple and white wedding flowers little miss lovely // mount pocono pa florist // pocono wedding florist // purple and white wedding flowers little miss lovely // mount pocono pa florist // pocono wedding florist // purple and white wedding flowers little miss lovely // mount pocono pa florist // pocono wedding florist // purple and white wedding flowers little miss lovely // mount pocono pa florist // pocono wedding florist // purple and white wedding flowers Each guest was given a small purple bag of colorful pom poms. After the couple was announced as Mr. & Mrs. Sparrow, the guests were asked to shower them in pom poms. It was an explosion of excitement and hilarity. Such a fun exit.the inn at pocono manor wedding // little miss lovely floral design The bride and groom chose to provide their own centerpieces. They made beautiful arrangements of dried flowers; bringing nature and the outdoors inside. I created a draping swag for the sweetheart table that matched the ceremony's arbor design. The mason jars that had hung on the aisle chairs during the ceremony were repurposed for the reception, too. the inn at pocono manor wedding // little miss lovely floral design the inn at pocono manor wedding // little miss lovely floral design purple and white mason jar with burlap // little miss lovely floral design // ocean city md wedding florist the inn at pocono manor wedding // little miss lovely floral design Thank you, Zee & Pat, for including me in your wedding festivities.
