rose gold, sequin and blush wedding inspiration

little miss lovely floral design // rose gold, peach, pink & teal wedding centerpieces

In a pattern consisting of low, wildflower inspired florals I am hoping to see a trend of inventive ways to bring high end florals back to event design… and I’m not just saying that because I am a professional in the floral and event industry, I’m saying it because lush, cascading, tall arrangements are stunning! For 2016, I’m predicting a movement towards glitzy sequins, warm metallics, and organic elements in event design. Rose gold and copper are said to be the ‘it’ metal as well as a lead color when it comes to designing weddings and events all year round. A movement towards organic elements will include items outside of just florals… feathers, crystals, and cascading greenery.

This table display (designed by Alison to the Altar with florals by Little Miss Lovely Floral Design) showcases how the rose gold trend can be paired with a neutral palette or one filled of refreshing colors. The mixture of peach, pink, and teal florals with greenery look so elegant placed atop sparkling rose gold sequin runners. The hammered copper chargers and napkin rings continue the rose gold theme. The floral arrangements are raised on ceramic pedestals. The height of the florals carries the eye upward and can accent any reception venue nicely… especially one with a stunning ceiling or drapery installation.

A table setting like the one show can be made more neutral by using ivory linens, ivory napkins, and keeping the florals in shared of ivory, white and blush blooms with greenery. Pale florals always photography nicely and are timeless. Neutral palettes are always all the rage and 2016 seems to follow the trend.

  • Plan to incorporate the rose gold theme throughout your wedding day:
  • Use foiled text on your invitations, programs, menus, and favors
  • Add rose gold mercury glass tea lights to your table setting to add extra shimmer
  • Add rose gold charms or brooches to your bridal party bouquets and boutonnieres
  • Have your baker add some rose gold foil to your wedding cake (or create rose gold cake pops like these ones by Sugar Rush by Theresa)
  • Dress your bridesmaids in rose gold sequins
  • On a budget? Buy a few cans of rose gold spray paint and upcycle wine bottles to use as vases for your florals

Floral centerpieces created by Little Miss Lovely Floral Design. Designed for the 2016 Lighthouse Sound Bridal Show. I love how these floral arrangements are tall, full, lush and attention-getting. The rose gold sequin table runner and glittery table number are nothing short of glamorous. I can’t get enough of this table design. I hope that you loved our table and found inspiration in our design! xoxo - Ami
